    MARE in Dutch Delta Programme (DDP) New Build and Regeneration

    The Dordrecht MARE component ‘Water in the City’ on climate-proof urban regeneration
    considering pluvial flood risk has been selected as an official national pilot for the Dutch policy
    process Delta Programme, within the sub-programme New Build and Regeneration. 
     
    Supervised by the Directorate ‘Ruimte’ of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, design
    workshops have been organised. Furthermore, an inventory has been made of legal, financial and
    political opportunities and barriers for climate proof urban development and regeneration. Mid-
    2011 the first results will be delivered.
