Harvard University presents “The New Map of Dordrecht”
The Harvard - Netherlands Project on Climate Change, Water, Land Development, and
Adaptation, presented out-of-the-box ideas on reducing Flood Risk for the city of Dordrecht.
The project, for which a group of 30 student visited Dordrecht in 2010, is a joint study led by Pierre
Bélanger and Nina-Marie Lister from the Departments of Landscape Architecture & Planning at
Harvard University in association with the Dutch Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water
Management; the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment; knowledge Institute Deltares, and the Government of Dordrecht.
